Bethel grad Bacote scores 15 points in Old Dominion loss

Bethel High School graduate Aaron Bacote scored 15 points in Old Dominion University's 81-77 home loss to conference rival Drexel University on Feb. 28, accordig to Old Dominion's website.

The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block for the Monarchs who are 4-25 on the season and 2-15 in the Colonial Athletic Conference.

Old Dominion's next game is noon Saturday, March 2 on the road against Northeastern University.

Bacote is a Hampton native who averaged 22 points per game to lead the Peninsula District in scoring and was named Peninsula District Player of the Year during his senior year for coach Craig Brehon.
