Bethel grad Goodwin contributes to Louisburg victory

Bethel High School graduate Joe Goodwin played for Louisburg College in a 91-68 win against conference rival Wake Technical Community College on Feb. 13 in Raleigh, N.C., the Louisburg College website reported.

Goodwin helped the Hurricanes improve to 21-1 on the season and 10-1 in the Northeast Conference.

Louisburg College's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at home against Rockingham Community College.

Goodwin is a sophomore forward for Louisburg College. The Norfolk native is a 2009 graduate of Bethel High School in Hampton.
