Kecoughtan grad Fortune helps in Providence victory
Kecoughtan High School graduate Josh Fortune scored fivde points in Providence College's 76-66 win over conference rival University of South Florida on Feb. 13 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla., the team's website reported.
Fortune also recorded one rebound for the Frirs, who improved to 13-11 on the season and 5-7 in conference.
Providence College's next game is noon Saturday, Feb. 16 at home against Notre Dame.
Fortune is a freshman guard for Providence College. The Hampton native is a 2012 graduate of Kecoughtan High School, where he served as a team captain in 2011 and 2012. He is the son of Craig and Angela Fortune.
