Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau events, Feb. 15-17
The Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau released its events schedule for Friday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 17.
• On Friday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. there will be a Teen Division event. According to a press release, "It is an individual competition for ages 13 to 17. There will be a minimum of two workouts of the day. Registration cost is $35 per person."
• Saturday, Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. there will be Men's, Women's and Co-ed Divisions events. Accroding to the release, "These divisions are two person team competitions with a minimum of three workouts of the day. Registration cost is $150 per team pr $75 per person."
• On Sunday, Feb. 17 at 8 a.m. there will be Men's Masters, Women's Masters and Co-ed Masters events. According to the press release, "Masters competitions are two person team competitions for ages 40 and over. There will be a minimum of three workouts of the day. Registration cost is $120 per team or $60 per person."
The Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau is responsible for promoting tourism to Hampton and marketing and sales for the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Its staff consists of a sales team and media team. The executive director is Sallie Grant-DiVenuti. The Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau offices are located on Commerce Drive.
