Kecoughtan grad Batten scores 15 points in Old Dominion loss

Kecoughtan High School graduate Dimitri Batten scored 15 points in Old Dominion University's 75-73 loss to conference rival University of Delaware on Feb. 11, according to Old Dominion's website.

The sophomore guard also recorded three rebounds and two steals for the Monarchs who are 3-22 on the season and 1-12 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Old Dominion's next game is noon Saturday, Feb. 16 at home against the College of William and Mary.

Batten is a 2010 graduate of Kecoughtan High School. He was twice named the Peninsula District Player of the Year and earned second team all-state honors during his high school career. The Newport News native is a sociology major.
