Hampton runner completes Mt. Trashmore 6K

Hampton runner Tessa Peterson completed the Mt. Trashmore 6K (Mud In Your Eye XC Series) on Saturday, Jan. 19 in Virginia Beach.

The 24-year-old runner finished in 43:43.

Race organizers said 178 runners finished the 6K race, which began and ended at Mount Trashmore.

Robert Dinterman, of North Carolina, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 22:26, while Stephanie Aurel Ingalls, of Florida, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 24:30.
