Free Income Tax Service scheduled for Feb. 9

The Free Income Tax Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at Bethel AME Church in Hampton.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

According to a press release from Bethel AME Church, "The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Team will provide free IRS and state tax return preparations for low-to-moderate income taxpayers. No appointments; first come, first served."

Tickets are not required, and the event is free.

Bethel AME Church is at 94 W. Lincoln St., Hampton.
