Bethel grad Goodwin contributes to Louisburg victory

Bethel High School graduate Joe Goodwin played for Louisburg College in a 108-73 win at home over Sandhills Community College on Feb. 2 in Louisburg, N.C., the team's website reported.

Goodwin helped the Hurricanes improve to 21-1 on the season. The team's next game is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Greensboro College JV.

Goodwin is a sophomore forward for Louisburg College. The Norfolk native is a 2009 graduate of Bethel High School in Hampton.
