Phoebus Rio to perform Feb. 20
Phoebus Rio is scheduled for a 6 p.m. concert at the Hampton History Museum's Great Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
The performance is part of the museum's Front Porch Music Series. Cost is $3 for nonmuseum members and free for members and children younger than 6.
According to a museum release, "Phoebus Rio has been described as 'an energetic, fun band with the ability to get people on their feet.' The band is known for playing an unusual variety of music, including blues, bluegrass, country, folk, Celtic and more. The band was voted MEONA's No. 1 Americana Band for 2009 playing Cajun, Irish, bluegrass, cowboy and western, tangos and blues."
The museum is at 120 Old Hampton Lane, Hampton.
