Bethel grad Goodwin contributes to Louisburg victory

Bethel High School graduate Joe Goodwin played for Louisburg College in its 116-65 win over conference rival Johnston Community College on Saturday, Jan. 19, in Smithfield, N.C., the Louisburg website reported.

Goodwin helped the Hurricanes improve to 18-0 on the season and 6-0 in conference.

Louisburg's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Rockingham Community College.

Goodwin is a sophomore forward for Louisburg College. The Norfolk native is a 2009 graduate of Bethel High School in Hampton.
