Hampton University men's basketball beat James Madison University 69-65
The Hampton University men's basketball team topped James Madison University in a 69-65 decision Monday, Jan. 7 at Hampton University.
The Pirates' Deron Powers scored 19 points and Du'Vaughn Maxwell recorded 10 rebounds.
The Dukes' Rayshawn Goins scored 16 points and recorded 12 rebounds.
Hampton University, 3-10 on the season, travels to Howard University on Saturday, Jan. 12.
James Madison University, 7-8 on the season, hosts the University of North Carolina-Wilmington on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
