Phoebus grad Jones-Clark plays in Virginia Wesleyan loss

Phoebus High School graduate Isaiah Jones-Clark played for Virginia Wesleyan College in a 100-89 loss against Newport News Apprentice School on Jan. 2 in Newport News, the Virginia Wesleyan College website reported.

The freshman guard recorded one assist for the Marlins, who are 7-4 on the season.

Virginia Wesleyan College's next game is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 on the road against Shenandoah.

Jones-Clark is a 2012 graduate of Phoebus High School in Hampton, where he averaged six points and seven rebounds a game. The criminal justice major from Hampton is the son of Sabrina Jones.
