Hampton City Schools students help with Toys for Tots

Hampton City Schools' the Principals IB Advisory Council recently collected items for Toys for Tots.

Students from the district helped assemble the stockings filled with toys. The school made the announcement on Dec. 20.

Hampton City Schools is headquartered at One Franklin St., Hampton.

Hampton City Schools is the municipal school district serving the educational needs of the children of the city of Hampton. The district operates more than 30 schools, 97 percent of which are accredited. Hampton Public Schools has an early childhood center; 19 elementary schools serving kindergarten through grade five; two schools serving pre-kindergarten through grade eight; a gifted center; five middle schools and four high schools. The total student enrollment is 20,700.
