About Batten: Batten, a 6-foot-3 redshirt sophomore guard for Old Dominion University, is a 2010 graduate of Kecoughtan High School. He was twice named the Peninsula District Player of the Year and earned second team all-state honors during his high school career. The Newport News native is the son of Denise Batten and is a sociology major.
