About Hamilton: Hamilton is a 2010 graduate of Phoebus High School, where she played basketball for coaches William Brooks and Barbara Burgess. As a senior (2009-10), Hamilton averaged 15.8 points per game to earn MVP honors. She was also team MVP in 2008-09 as a junior when she averaged 14 points per contest. In 2007-08 as a sophomore Hamilton played in 18 games for Phoebus' varsity team, averaging 10.2 points per outing and was also MVP of the junior varsity team. She was JV MVP in 2006-07 as a freshman. Born Sept. 13, 1990 the daughter of Yolanda Hamilton and Johnnie Thompson, she plans to major in recreation at Hampton University. Hamilton is from Hampton.
